Playing catch up here as things have been chaotic beyond belief for the past while. The first two pictures are from the winter driving track where skid control training courses are run. Picture thee is the express train that is part of the transit system that runs between towns. Four is obviously some unidentified fungi. The last three pictures were for the digital photography course that I am taking.
September brought me the opportunity to visit Silkeborg Denmark for a job interview. While my days were occupied with meeting with the prospective employer, I did have some time during the evenings to wander around the city and take some pictures. As you can see, the area is beautiful both the landscape and the architecture. The people that I met there were very friendly and outgoing. I look forward to getting back there for a longer visit and to take more pictures.
Having finally recovered from having family visiting and a major computer outage this summer I am, at long last, getting my pictures from August posted. I've also been running through a few Photoshop tutorials learning how to tweak images for contrast colour and other darkroom techniques. I'll still maintain this blog as `pure photography' in that only minor imaging adjustments will be made. no cut and paste, no computer generated images unless clearly identified as such.
Also later in the month pictures from my mini vacation in August.
NOTE: The final picture in this series is very large as it is a composite of four pictures combined in a single strip.

Now on to other matters; June has been a great month for getting out and taking pictures. Lots of opportunity for a variety of pictures ranging from a car race, to wild life and of course my usual fare of flowers.
A week late for the May photos and I do apologize, it has been a gorgeous month, with Mediterranean weather daily . There are so many pictures that I took last month it was hard to narrow it down. Here are 20 of my favourites.

Well we can finally welcome spring in the land of the vikings. Warm weather with light rains made for a pleasant change from last year's gray weather. Pulling over 200 hours at work did limit my time behind the camera but I managed to neglect some unimportant business like paying bills and cleaning house in order to get some pictures worthy of sharing.
May is suppose to be warm and clear so with my new bicycle I should be getting some pictures even if I have to stop on my way to work in the morning to grab a few snaps. Keep watch for more next month.
